Title:
FUEL QUANTITY INCREASE DEVICE FOR MULTIPLE CARBURETOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3196085
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To restrain the thinning of air-fuel mixture by opening a fuel quantity increase passage through actuation of a control valve by a control signal from a control circuit within the range of a determined vehicle speed and also within the range of determined intake pipe inside negative pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Each carburetor 1 at whose intake passage 2 a venturi portion 11 is formed, and a fuel quantity increase passage made to diverge from fuel inflow passages 17 are equipped. Also, fuel quantity increase distribution passages 20A-20C or the like that control a fuel quantity flowing in the fuel quantity increase passage and are made to branch off from the fuel quantity increase passage downstream of a control valve 21 and are connected to the intake passages 2 of respective carburetors 1, are equipped. The fuel quantity increase passage is made to open by actuating the control valve 21 by means of a control signal from a control circuit 30 within the range of a determined vehicle speed and also within the range of determined intake pipe inside negative pressure. As a result, the thinning of mixture at the times of the middle and high opening low speed operation and the accelerating operation of an engine can be restrained. Also, air-fuel mixture can be thickened aggressively at these operation spheres.
