Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformation system capable of making an octane value quickly reach its target value by simple control without increasing a size of a reforming reactor.SOLUTION: A fuel reformation system 1 for producing a reformed fuel including alcohol by reforming a fuel by using oxygen, includes a reforming reactor 3 in which a reforming reaction using oxygen progresses under action of a reforming catalyst when a mixture of air and fuel is supplied, an air supply device 4 for supplying air to the mixer 2, a non-reformed fuel supply device 5 for supplying a non-reformed fuel not passing through the reforming reactor 3 to the mixer 2, a reformed fuel recovering device 71 for recovering the reformed fuel discharged from the reforming reactor 3, a reformed fuel re-supply device 75 for supplying the reformed fuel recovered by the reformed fuel recovering device 71 to the mixer 2 again, and an ECU 8 for controlling an air supply amount from the air supply device 4, a non-reformed fuel supply amount from the non-reformed fuel supply device 5, and a reformed fuel supply amount from the reformed fuel re-supply device 75.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
