To provide a fuel reforming system capable of enhancing reacting speed in fuel reformation, and capable of obtaining 1-alkene and a carbon-increased product.
The fuel reforming system includes: a critical state making device for bringing fuel and water into a supercritical state or a sub-critical state; a fuel heating and mixing device for heating and mixing the fuel and the water fed from the critical state making device and mixed with each other in a supercritical state or a sub-critical state; and a reforming device for reforming a mixed fluid sent from the fuel mixing device. In the method of reforming fuel, after bringing the fuel and the water into the supercritical state or the sub-critical state, the fuel and the water in the supercritical state or the sub-critical state are joined with each other, and heated and mixed, and the heated mixed fluid is reformed.
