Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming system capable of suppressing clogging due to deposition of a component hard to dissolve in fuel occurring from reforming reaction or reformed fuel.SOLUTION: A fuel reforming system 1 includes: a reformer 15 having a reforming catalyst 151 for reforming gasoline with air to generate alcohol; and an esterification device 30 arranged on a downstream side of the reformer 15, and having a solid acid catalyst for esterifying benzoic acid generated with reforming reaction of the reforming catalyst 151 to form benzoic acid ester.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
