Abstract:
To suppress a rise of rotation torque at an operation, the generation of noise and the wear of a rubber sheet while securing seal performance by using the rubber sheet.SOLUTION: A fuel selector valve comprises a body, a valve and a rubber sheet, and a valve hole of the valve makes an inlet communication hole and an outlet communication hole communicate with each other, and blocks the communication, thus switching a flow of fuel. An inlet fuel spread groove and an outlet fuel spread groove are formed at a periphery of an opening part of the valve hole. Depths of the grooves are shallow so that the rubber sheet is not fit therein. Also, end parts of the grooves in an axial direction are formed into tapered shapes, and the rubber sheet hardly bites therein even if the valve turns. Since the grooves are formed by planarly notching the valve in a peripheral direction, the grooves and an external periphery of the valve are connected to each other at an obtuse angle, and the rubber sheet also hardly bites therein. Then, the fuel flows into a clearance between the valve and the rubber sheet from the grooves, a liquid film is thereby formed, and a rise of rotation torque at a turn of the valve, the generation of noise and the wear of the rubber sheet are suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
