To realize both of reduction of a loading amount of water used to separate blended fuel and reduction in refilling frequency of water to thereby enhance practicality of an internal combustion engine using blended fuel, in a fuel separating device for separating blended fuel into hydrocarbon fuel and alcohol.
This fuel separating device is equipped with a water storage part 16 for storing water, a first separating part 24 for adding water in the water storage part 16 to the blended fuel and separating the fuel into hydrocarbon fuel and liquid mixture of water and alcohol, and a second separating part 36 for separating the liquid mixture of water and alcohol collected from the first separation part 24 into water and alcohol. The water collected from the second separation part 36 is returned to the water storage part 16.
