Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent liquid fuel from leaking from a relief valve, even when a vehicle is vibrating.
CONSTITUTION: When liquid level in a fuel tank rises, a float aggregate 40 comes to be afloat, thereby closing a valve. Also, when the internal pressure of the fuel tank rises in that state, a relief valve opens, thereby negating the rise of the internal pressure. When a vehicle is vibrating, the second float comes to be afloat to close the whole of a fuel shutoff valve 10. Thus, the outflow of liquid fuel can be prevented, regardless of the open/close state of the relief valve.
