Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fuel storage facilities capable of storing both fuel being stored in storage cans and being hardly declared to be healthy and healthy fuel not stored in the storage cans.SOLUTION: Fuel storage facilities 10 are installed on a fuel pool floor of a nuclear power plant and allow a plurality of a storage cans 30 having bottomed cylinder shapes and storing fuel assemblies to be inserted from an upper side and to be held inside a fuel pool. The fuel storage facility 10 can store individual ones of the plurality of a storage cans 30 one-by-one. The fuel storage facility 10 include: a plurality of vertical walls 12 joined to one another so as to form a plurality of cells 13 having upper ends opening and being arranged in a lattice-shape in a horizontal direction; and upper spacers 11 and lower spacers 17 mounted onto the plurality of vertical walls 12 for maintaining intervals among the individual storage cans 30 and the vertical walls 12 facing the individual storage cans 30.
