PURPOSE: To obtain an economical and practical fuel supplier of simplified function and primitive construction by continuous fuel injection to a joining point of inlet manifolds and by adoption of metering method in fuel flow control.
CONSTITUTION: Supply pipes 4 and 10 are provided to lead the fuel pumped out by a fuel pump 2 under a normal pressure to an injector 9 of the fixed injection- valve opening pressure provided at a joining point 8 of the inlet manifolds 7. Provided on the fuel supply passage is a spool valve 11 which functions as a metering valve of the flow pressure decrease that is kept constant by a differential pressure regulator 12. A computer 15 performs calculation of the injection flow rate needed to reach a predetermined air/fuel ratio, based on the operational element signals from the engine. The operating signal corresponding to the flow rate discharged by a servo signal generator circuit 18 is applied to a motor 13 which drives the metering valve 13 for automatic injection of the necessary amount of the fuel matching the amount of air intook by the inlet valve 7. Thus, the device of simplified construction and excellent utility are obtained.
