PURPOSE: To attain prevention of surging or the like by averaging a physical quantity respectively by a large quantity in a small side of the physical quantity and by a small quantity in a large side of the physical quantity, in the case that a change amount of the physical quantity relating to a fuel amount supplied to an internal combustion engine is larger than a predetermined threshold value.
CONSTITUTION: Whether a change amount per unit time of a physical quantity relating to a fuel supply amount to an internal combustion engine is larger or not than a predetermined threshold value is judged by a change amount judging means 1. As a result, when the change amount is judged larger than the threshold value, the physical quantity is averaged in its small side by a large average quantity and further in large side by a small average quantity, by an averaging means 2. In this way, at the time of acceleration, generation of graphite and surging is prevented to also prevent decrease of acceleration. On the other hand at the time of deceleration, generation of surging is prevented without worsening an effective degree of an engine brake.
