PURPOSE: To provide a configuration without waste by constituting in such a way that a valve device acts in a second condition, an inlet of a first pump is insulated from a supply passage, and an inlet passage of a second pump is connected to the supply passage.

CONSTITUTION: A pump device 14 includes a first centrifugal pump 30 and a centrifugal pump 31 having smaller capacity than the pump 30, both pumps are mounted on a common shaft 32 driven by a shaft of an engine 13, an inlet 35 of the pump 30 can be insulated from a passage by a valve closing element 36, and an inlet passage 39 for pump 31 is communicated with either of a passage 33 and an outlet 40 of the pump 30 depending on a position of a valve member 41. The valve member 41 is pressed and moved on the whole so as to shut off the outlet 40 by a pressure in a line 42 fed from a feed conduit 43 of the pump device 14. The valve member 41 is movable against the pressure in the line 42 by a pressure in the outlet 40, thereby insulating the passage 33 from the passage 39. In this way, the valve member 41 moves so as to shut off the outlet 40 when the element 36 shuts off the inlet 35 to communicate and connect the passages 33 and 39 mutually.
