Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out advancing compensatory treatment of fuel supply quantity favourably to follow a load change accompanying disturbance, etc., and carry out favourable fuel supply control in accordance with change-over of a combustion state.
SOLUTION: This device computes (S3) quantity X1 converted to generated torque of an engine 1 by applying correction of a target equivalent ratio (TFBYA) and correction of combustion efficiency (EFFI) to QA/NE information. X2 applying primary delay treatment to the X1 is found (S4). Thereafter, if it is not in during of stratified/ homogeneous combustion change-over, advancing compensatory quantity Z corresponding to disturbance, etc., is found in accordance with the X1, X2. In the meantime, if it is during stratified/homogeneous combustion change-over, a previous value is set on the X1, and the advancing compensatory quantity Z is made to be a value near to O (S6). Consequently, it is possible to carry out advancing compensatory treatment of fuel supply quantity favourably following a load change accompanying disturbance, to prohibit unnecessary advancing compensatory treatment by making the advancing compensatory quantity Z to be a value near to O at the time of changing the combustion state and to carry out favourable fuel supply control in accordance with change-over of the combustion state.
