Abstract:

To effectively suppress adhesion of supplied fuel to a wall face when negative pressure in an intake pipe is reduced because an operating angle of an intake valve is small.

In this fuel supply controller for the internal combustion engine for supplying fuel, fuel supply time is decided in accordance with valve opening characteristic of the intake valve 2. That is, fuel is supplied from a fuel injection valve 15 in synchronization with suction process when the operating angle of the intake valve 2 is below a predetermined value. When the operating angle of the intake valve 2 is larger than the predetermined value, fuel supply is completed before start of the suction process.
