PURPOSE: To reduce any fuel temperature rise in a fuel tank so as to improve startability by performing driving control after to determining a fuel supply quantity based on a detection result of a fuel consumption and also driving a fuel supply means by means of a specified work quantity so that delay of transferring fuel may be prevented during start of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: When a blend rate is detected in an ECU 14, a compensation coefficient of the blend rate corresponding thereto is calculated. The driving time of an injector is then calculated. In the case of a normal operation, the ECU 14 calculates a fuel consumption from the driving time of the injector and engine speed and then a work quantity is calculated from a flow rate characteristic map and the ECU 14 drives a fuel pump 26 based thereon. Then the ECU 14 calculates and determines a control value at the time of an normal operation so as to perform the driving control of an ISC valve 10, an ignition plug 44 and the like. Meanwhile in the case of unnormal operation, a fuel pump 26 is driving controlled in a full driving ratio. Resaltantly, fuel in a feedline 27 rises instaneously so as to prevent malfunction of start caused by delay of transfer. Proper fuel supply is performed in this way, malfunction caused by rise in fuel temperature inside the fuel tank is not generated so as to prevent poor starting proporty.
