PURPOSE: To correct fuel supply amount corresponding to suction air amount and to improve precision by properly modulating the frequency of an electrical signal applied to a solenoid valve according to the operating condition of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: With air sucked in through an air cleaner 1, an air amount detector 4 generates an AC voltage signal having a frequency proportional to the air velocity or the like. The signal is converted into a driving pulse row by a microcomputer 7 before fed to a solenoid valve 8, and the valve is opened and closed in synchronism with the pulse row. With the operating condition of the engine changed, a change signal is fed from sensors 16aW16d to the microcomputer 7 through a control circuit 16 so as to modulate the output of the microcomputer 7. The modulated driving pulse row is fed to the solenoid valve 8 for open-close operation of the valve 8.
