Abstract:
To provide a fuel supply device and a fuel supply method for actualizing stably operative power generation with simple facilities by a diesel engine using liquid biomass fuel including various kinds of palm oil.SOLUTION: A device for supplying liquid biomass fuel including palm oil as fuel stock solution to a diesel engine includes a fuel stock solution tank 1 in which the fuel stock solution is stored, and a circulation pipeline 3 installed for the fuel stock solution being supplied from the fuel stock solution tank 1 to a diesel engine 4 to be returned therethrough to the fuel stock solution tank 1. A pressure regulation valve 6 is arranged on the return pipe 33 side of the circulation pipeline 3 for holding a pressure in the circulation pipeline 3 at atmospheric pressure or higher and holding the flow rate in the circulation pipeline 3 at 0.3 m/sec or higher to make the fuel stock solution circulated at all times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
