Title:
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001323823
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce PM discharge amount, by optimizing the using region and the amount of additive gas (hydrogen, oxygen) for suitably performing combustion while minimizing the using amount thereof.

A ratio YR (0≤YR≤1) of fuel to be previously mixed and combusted to a supplied fuel for an diesel engine is derived, which is retrieved from a map based on engine speed and fuel injection amount. A ratio KR of fuel to be diffused and combusted to the supplied fuel is derived by subtracting YR from 1 (KR=1-YR). The additive gas is injected into a combustion chamber according to these respective ratios YR and KR. For example, an injection amount of hydrogen gas is determined based on YR, and an injection amount of oxygen gas is determined based on KR.
