Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a fuel injection quantity by an injector for intake passage injection while cooling a high-pressure fuel pump.SOLUTION: A fuel of comparatively low temperature is pressure-fed from a fuel tank 34 to an injector 12 for intake passage injection by a low-pressure fuel pump 16 via a first low-pressure fuel pipe 20, a first fuel passage 2604, a second fuel passage 2606 and a second low-pressure fuel pipe 22. Accordingly, a joint 26 itself is cooled by the fuel of comparatively low temperature, the joint 26 cools a third low-pressure fuel pipe 24, and the third low-pressure fuel pipe 24 cools a case of a high-pressure fuel pump 18. That is, heat exchange is performed between the fuel of comparatively low temperature and the high-pressure fuel pump 18 via the joint 26, and the high-pressure fuel pump 18 is cooled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
