To provide the fuel supply device of a saddle type vehicle, in which a fuel hose extending from a high-pressure side fuel filter is shortened, and any special protective member is not required, by arranging the high-pressure side fuel filter between a fuel tank and a seat.
In the saddle type vehicle, a fuel tank (25) and a seat (30) are partly stacked in a vertical direction, and longitudinally and continuously supported by a vehicle body frame (2). Further, in the fuel supply device of the saddle type vehicle, a fuel pump (55) for pumping and forcibly feeding the fuel stored in the fuel tank (25) is inserted in the fuel tank (25), and mounted thereon. A high-pressure side fuel filter (57) to be interposed between fuel supply pipes (61, 62) extending from the fuel pump (55) is arranged on an overlapping part (J) where the upper lid plate (27) of the fuel tank (25) overlaps the seat bottom plate (35) of the seat (30).
