A suction side filter 4 has a holding part 5 facing the opening part 1C of the fuel pump housing cylinder part 1B, and detachably engaged with and arranged in the fuel pump housing cylinder part 1B, and a connecting pipe part 6 having one end opening in a filtering member 7 and the other end connected to a suction passage PC of a fuel pump P. The fuel pump P arranged in the fuel pump housing cylinder part 1B is supported by the holding part 5 of the suction side filter 4 engaged with and arranged on the lower end of the cylinder part 1B. The connecting pipe part 6 integrally formed with the suction side filter 4 is connected to the suction passage PC of the fuel pump P.
