To reduce possibility that the control of an internal combustion engine 2 becomes unstable within a period of supplying gaseous fuel, in a fuel supply device 1 which supplies fuel to the internal combustion engine 2.
The fuel supply device 1 is equipped with a fuel evaporating means 5 that includes an evaporation vessel 23 that forms a space in which liquid fuel is evaporated, and a first detection means 36 that detects the temperature T0 and pressure P0 within the evaporation vessel 23. This allows the temperature T0 and pressure P0 within the evaporation vessel 23 to be accurately detected, so that the substantial supply quantity of the gaseous fuel and air to be sucked from the evaporation vessel 23 into a combustion chamber 3 can be precisely known. Since this allows for accurate determination of the supply quantity of air required for the combustion of the gaseous fuel, the risk that the control of the internal combustion engine 2 becomes unstable within the period when the gaseous fuel is supplied can be reduced.
