Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device capable of removing iron content from fuel while suppressing increase in cost and increase in size of a fuel tank.SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 23 is used in a stator of a motor incorporated in a fuel pump 3. A pump housing 21 of the fuel pump 3 is composed of a non-magnetic material or thin sheet metal. Thus iron content in the fuel is captured in the pump housing 21 by magnetic force of the permanent magnet 23. A pump supporting portion 8 supporting the fuel pump 3 is formed into the band shape surrounding the whole periphery of the pump housing 21, and disposed at a downstream side in a drawing-out direction of the fuel pump 3 from the pump supporting portion 8 with respect to the permanent magnet 23, that is, at an upper portion.
