Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device capable of preventing the oversupply of fuel at starting an engine.SOLUTION: A fuel well is linked to an intake passage of a four-cycle engine for temporarily storing fuel to be sucked into the engine. A pulse injector fills a fixed amount of fuel into the fuel well with respect to each operation. An electronic control unit allows the operation of the pulse injector number of times corresponding to the required amount of the fuel in every one cycle of the engine. At starting the engine, for a period up to discriminating a corresponding relationship between the operation stroke of the engine and the rotating angle of a crank shaft, the electronic control unit executes fuel supply determining processing each time the crank shaft is rotated once to determine whether the operation of the pulse injector is allowed or not. When determining that the operation of the pulse injector is allowed in execution previous time, the fuel supply determining processing determines that it is not allowed in execution this time, and when determining that it is not allowed in execution previous time, it determines that it is allowed in execution this time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
