Title:
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016148268
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device for completely separating a sucked fuel introduction flow path X and a leaked fuel collection flow path Y, thus effectively utilizing low-temperature sucked fuel for reducing sliding heat between a plunger 42 and a cylinder 43 to meet requirements for higher-pressure fuel.SOLUTION: On the outer periphery of a cylinder 43, a first fuel flow path 34 as part of the sucked fuel introduction flow path X and a second fuel flow path 35 as part of the leaked fuel collection flow path Y are provided while being isolated from each other in the axial direction. Because the sucked fuel introduction flow path X and the leaked fuel collection flow path Y are mutually independent, high-temperature leaked fuel is free from mixture into sucked fuel. Thus, low-temperature fuel from a fuel tank 1 is distributed into the sucked fuel introduction flow path X, as it is, and the low-temperature fuel can be effectively utilized for reducing sliding heat between the plunger 42 and the cylinder 43. Besides, because the first fuel flow path 34 is joined to a suction side 31a of a feed pump 31, pump efficiency is not sacrificed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
