Title:
FUEL SUPPLY FACILITY OF GAS TURBINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0249932
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate use of a conventional type fuel pressure boosting pump by installing a plurality of capacity pumps corresponding to respective fuel injection nozzles on a common rotary shaft a flow divider to supply distributedly the fuel from a fuel transfer pump to a plurality of fuel injection nozzles.

CONSTITUTION: In a fuel supply facility of a gas turbine, the fuel in a fuel tank 1 is pumped up through a strainer 2 by a fuel transfer pump 3, followed by boosting of the pressure, and sent distributedly to a plurality of fuel injection nozzles 14 via low pressure filter 4, fuel cutoff valve 5, flow divider 12, and set pressure check valve 13. The flow divider 12 couples a gear pump (capacity pump) 11 (11a, 11b..., 11i) arranged mating with the fuel injection nozzles 14 with a common rotary shaft 9 directly coupled with a motor 15, and understream the gear pumps 11, pressure relieve valves 10a, 10b,... 10i are furnished to release excessive pressure rise, which is generated when blocking is generated downstream the gear pumps 11, to the upstream of the gear pumps 11.
