Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable vaporized fuel IN a constant pressure fuel chamber to normally flow to an intake passage little by little together with fuel irrespective of the posture of an engine, thereby preventing much vaporized fuel from remaining in the chamber.
SOLUTION: A membrane type carburetter supply fuel to a fuel nozzle 16 protruding to an intake passage from a constant pressure fuel chamber 30 of a carburetter main body 12 is provided with a fuel sump 28 at almost the center of the chamber 30. One of ends of the sump 28 is communicated with the nozzle 16 via. a check valve 26 and fuel jet 20 while the other is closed with a cover plate in which a through hole 30a is formed which communicates the sump 28 with the center of the chamber 30. A plurality of fuel passages 61 are provided whose dia. is the same as the through hole 30a radially extending from the sump 28 and being communicated with the circumferential edge of the chamber 30.
