PURPOSE: To seal a control circuit unit by arranging an inner cylinder which determins a fuel passage in a housing, enclosing its one end by a holder plate, and forming resin sealing parts around the inner cylinder and the holder plate through potting method.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel pump 10 has a pump 11, a brushless motor 12 for driving it, and a control circuit unit 13 for control it. All of them are housed in an outer cylinder 14 as a housing. An inlet cover 15 and an outlet cover 20 are fixed to both end opening, while an introduction passage 16 and a feeding passage 21 for fuel are formed thereon. An inner cylinder 37 is arranged between a rotor 32 and a stator 34 in the brushless motor 12, while a fuel passage is determined by a hollow portion 38. A holder plate 41 is fitted to one end of the inner cylinder 37. Resin sealing parts 52 are formed between the outer cylinder 14 and the inner cylinder 37, and around the holder plate 41 by potting method.
