To provide a fuel supply pump which is capable of surely suppressing pulsation of high pressure discharged from a pump and simplifying the constitution of the whole fuel supply system.
A fuel supply pump 7 is constituted by providing an annular accumulator 67 communicated with a discharge passage within a pump main body 57 discharging fuel pressurized within a pump chamber 57 to a discharge passage. Because the accumulator 67 is an annular one, capacity which is capable of sufficiently absorbing high pulsation generated in the pump chamber 57 can be obtained. In addition to this, because the accumulator 67 is provided within the pump, the whole fuel supply system can be compactly constituted and fuel can be prevented from leaking to the outside of a fuel pump even if fuel leaks due to the damage of the accumulator, etc.
