Title:
FUEL SUPPLY QUANTITY CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3804403
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable low speed traveling in a vehicle equipped with a spark ignition internal combustion engine executing lean combustion such as stratified combustion.
SOLUTION: The idle controlled variable QISC comprising idle controlled variable Qa corrected on the reduction side by an idle controlled variable correction value KQISC is reflected on the fuel injection quantity in the lean combustion during running in the processes in Steps S180 and S150. Thereby, the engine making little difference in road load fuel injection quantity between idling and low-speed running within a D range in lean combustion, even if increased in fuel injection quantity on demand, does not produce excessive output torque, stabilizes low-speed running and keeps the drivable property excellent.
