Title:
FUEL SUPPLY QUANTITY CONTROLLER OF VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2965050
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To appropriately maintain idling condition of an engine even if it is changed from the non-idling condition to an idling condition, when a cooling device is operated.
CONSTITUTION: A coolant flow quantity Gr of a cooling device 10 is calculated by a microcomputer 36 based on high-pressure side pressure Ph, outer air temperature Tac and a vehicle speed U respectively detected by a high-pressure side pressure sensor 33, an outer air temperature sensor 31 and a vehicle speed sensor 34 when an engine EG is in a non-idling condition. It is assumed that a variable volume compressor 11 is driven by the engine EG, at a specified idling rotational speed Nco and estimated driving torque for the compressor 11 which is necessary for maintaining the coolant flow quantity Gr is calculated. When the engine EG is changed from its non-idling condition to its idling condition, an idling adjustment valve 24 is controlled in response to the previously calculated estimated driying torque Tn so as to control a fuel supply quantity to the engine EGR.
