Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decreasingly correct excessive fuel injection in an overload operation or low-speed operation to suppress the exhaust gas concentration in such an operation.
SOLUTION: In this fuel supply system for diesel engine, a governor lever 5 formed of a first lever 3 and a second lever 4 is provided on a mechanical governor 2, so that the regulating rack 9 of a fuel injection pump 1 follows the movement of a rack contact part 8 at the rocking end of the second lever. The governor lever 5 comprises a negative torque control device 13, and the second lever 4 is formed in a broken structure, so that the broken angle Θof the second lever 4 is changed by the unbalance force between a governor force 7 and the working force 16 of the negative torque control device 13 when the engine speed reaches a negative torque control working area lower than the maximum torque rotating speed, whereby the regulating rack 9 of the fuel injection pump 1 is regulated in an area closer to fuel decreasing side from a maximum torque load position Q2.
