Abstract:
To provide a fuel supply system by which efficiency of exhaust-gas purification is improved by reliably reforming the fuel, and complication and upsizing of the structure can be restrained.
The fuel supply system comprises a Wesco pump 16 for pumping the fuel stored in a fuel tank 15 into an injector 12 of an engine 11. The number of revolutions Nrpm of the pump and the number n of vane grooves 27a of an impeller 27 are set to satisfy a formula: n≥1.2×106/N so as to act ultrasonic wave on the fuel pumped by torque of the impeller 27 in the Wesco pump 16.
