Abstract:
To provide a fuel supply system in which a high pressure pipe is eliminated, piping between a fuel tank, a throttle body, and a fuel-injection device is shortened, and a degree of flexibility in the layout of components is enhanced.
The fuel supply system has an integrated structure of a fuel tank 1, a throttle body 2, and a fuel injection device 3. The fuel injection device 3 is located between the fuel tank 1 and the throttle body 2, and is of a pressurized fuel-injection type, injecting fuel by force-feeding the fuel by reciprocating motion of a plunger. On the basis of signals from ECU (Electronic Control Unit), fuel in the fuel tank 1 is injected in an intake passage 21 of the throttle body 2.
