Abstract:
PURPOSE: To switch fuels without any trouble such as a shock caused by fuel shortage, an output reduction due to overrich air fuel mixture, and an exhaust condition deterioration in an engine which compatibly uses gaseous fuel and liquid fuel.
CONSTITUTION: Gaseous fuel injection valves 11A, 11B, 11c, 11D and liquid fuel injection valves 16A, 16B, 16C, 16D are provided by corresponding to respective cylinders 9A, 9B, 9C, 9D in an engine 8, and fuel injection stop from one side injection valve and fuel injection start from the other side injection valve are independently carried out in every cylinder individually, so that the trouble may be restricted to one part of the cylinder in case of occurrence of any trouble.
