Abstract:
To provide a fuel tank system capable of suppressing malfunction of an engine when nonconforming fuel is fueled by mistake to a fuel tank.
The type of fuel is detected by an in-tank sensor 42 arranged in the fuel tank 14. In erroneous fueling of fueling nonconforming fuel, an ECU closes an electromagnetic type inlet opening and closing valve 36. Further, the ECU prohibits driving of the engine 50. Failure and malfunction of the engine 50 due to driving of the engine 50 by the nonconforming fuel can be suppressed.
