Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank for a vehicle having a plurality of unit tanks divisionally loaded, and capable of sucking the fuel with a large amount of the fuel remained at least in the unit tank at a side of a fuel inlet even when a remaining amount of fuel in the tank is reduced.
SOLUTION: In this fuel tank comprising a plurality of unit tanks 1a, 1b divisionally loaded, a communication pipe 2 for connecting the unit tanks 1a, 1b at a lower part of plural unit tanks, and the fuel inlet 4 formed near a bottom of one of plural unit tanks 1a, 1b, an end 9 of the communication pipe 2 inserted into the unit tank 1b provided with the fuel inlet 4 is raised by a predetermined height. Whereby the fuel can be sucked in a state that a large amount of fuel 8 can be remained in the unit tank 1b at least on the side of the fuel inlet 4 even when the remaining amount of the fuel 8 in the tank is reduced, which prevents the engine stop.
