Abstract:
To provide a fuel tank at least partly made up of a flexible film so as to increase/decrease a capacity in response to the fuel storage, and ensuring a suction performance of a fuel pump and precision of indication in a level gage even when the tank is inclined.
In the fuel tank T whose capacity is increased/decreased in response to the fuel storage, the tank is made up of a pump chamber 3 which is not deformed with the storage and holds the fuel pump 27 in the inside, and at least partly of the flexible films 14, 15 which are deformed in response to the storage. The fuel tank T is provided with a plurality of variable-capacity chambers 13a, 13b communicating with each other through the pump chamber 3.
