Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fuel/water injection device for applying to a diesel engine having many cylinders wherein injection quantity of fuel to cylinders is suppressed as well as to alert so that increment of intercylinder pressure and exhaust gas temperature and generation of a black smoke are prevented if abnormality occurs to cylinders in water filling system, and an operation is shifted by fuel injection only if there are many abnormal cylinders therein.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel/water injection device is consisting of a water filling unit 300 provided with an actuator 301 wherein water filling quantity is controlled by a water supply pump 202 check valves 203, 204 provided in a pipe line passing from a water tunk 201 serving as a source for supplying water to a fuel injection valve 40, and a stroke of a spool 302, and water filling timing is controlled by an electromagnetic operating oil switching valve 305, an operating oil tank 101 serving as the source for feeding operating oil pressure, an operating oil pump 102, a controller 400 to control operation of each element, and driving device to receive control signal from the controller so as to control each organization.
