To provide a fulcrum bearing device of a pulley arm which can surely prevent the intrusion of a foreign matter into a fulcrum bearing, and can prevent the damage and the defect of a tight-sealing elastic seal at assembling.
A boss 7 is formed at the pulley arm 5 which supports a tension pulley 4, and a cylindrical fulcrum shaft 10 is inserted into a shaft insertion hole 8 which is formed at the boss 7. A pair of washers 11 is made to abut on both ends of the fulcrum shaft 10, a bolt 12 inserted into the fulcrum shaft 10 is screw-engaged with an engine block 13 so as to penetrate the washers 11, and the fulcrum shaft 10 is fixed by fastening the bolt 12. The film-shaped elastic seal 20 is adhered to a face opposing the boss 7 of the washers 11, and the elastic seal 20 is made to elastically contact with the end face of the boss 7 with a marginal space, thus preventing the intrusion of the foreign matter into the bearing.
