A test piece 4 of rubber or the like material stored in a pallet 1 is transferred to near a testing machine main body and moved by a changing machine to a chuck of the testing machine main body, so that a tensile test is conducted. The pallet 1 has pins for positioning the test piece and a net 2 laid on a bottom face. The test piece 4 is placed on the net 2. A suction pad 6 of the changing machine sucks the test piece 4 and takes out the test piece 4 from the pallet 1. Since a surface of the net 2 is rough, the test piece 4 is not extraordinarily tightly sucked, but surely sucked by the suction pad 6.
