PURPOSE: To full-automatically prepare a square bottom type paper handbag by a through process by preliminarily molding a handle from plastic to bond the same to the upper part of a paper bag.
CONSTITUTION: A plastic solution is applied to the handle part and square bottom part of cut paper and reinforcing paper is bonded to the handle part. This body part is bonded to be folded so as to form inner pleats. Subsequently, reinforcing paper is inserted in the square bottom part and the square bottom part is successively folded longitudinally and laterally to bond the folded inside parts and further folded so as to be closed to be subjected to bonding processing. In a handle bonding process, a projection 1 is inserted in the hole bored in the handle part and a projection inserting hole 5 of an adhesive plate 4 is inserted to perform press processing. The mounting plate 2 of a handle having no projection 1 is pasted and the handle part and the mounting plate of the handle are stapled from the upper part of the mounting plate 2 of the handle by an automatic stapler.
