Abstract:
PURPOSE: To implement an appropriate remedy in response to the degree of an abnormality, and make the use of a full automatic washing machine safer by a method wherein, when an abnormality is generated, the degree of the abnormality is judged and the operation of a product is prohibited when the abnormality is a serious failure which may induce a physical injury and the content of the abnormality is stored in a nonvolatile memory unit.
CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 10 performs a specified process based on a signal to be inputted, and a washing, rinsing and dehydration are performed by controlling various types of apparatus elements, conforming to the result. At the same time, whether an abnormality is generated or not during operation of a washing machine is detected, and also, whether the abnormality is light or heavy is judged. When there is the generation of an abnormality, the output of a control signal to a load driving circuit 23 from the microcomputer is stopped, and at the same time, a buzzer circuit 30 is operated and a buzzer is sounded to inform the abnormality. Then, when it is judged that the abnormality is serious, the content of the abnormality is stored in a reloadable nonvolatile memory unit 35 which is provided on the microcomputer 10, and the content of the memory is retained even when a power source is shut off.
