Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase cleaning power and minimize cleaning fluctuation by providing a switch for selecting a course corresponding to washing by a very low level as a washing course, and controlling the energizing time for a rotary impeller, different in forward rotation from that in backward rotation when the very low level corresponding course is selected.
SOLUTION: When a courser corresponding to washing by a very low level where laundry 9 is soaked in water by about a half is selected, a control unit 19 controls to energize a motor 1 for a time of T1 seconds so that an impeller 6 rotates in the right direction, stop for a time of t1 seconds. then energize the motor 11 for the time of T1 seconds so that the impeller 6 rotates in the left direction, and stop for the time of t1 seconds. Taking such movements as one cycle, the operation is repeated. By this operation, laundry 9 always contacts the rotary impeller 6 without floating on washing water 8, and the laundry 9 riding on the upper part of the impeller 6 is drawn in the rotating direction of the impelled by friction to improve the washing performance.
