Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a driver into miniaturization and lightweightiness as a whole, by installing a double differential gear in one spot adjacent to a ring gear, and rationalizing a bearing setup of symmetrical accelerating and decelerating gearings. CONSTITUTION:A front pinion 16 is installed in a front gearbox 34 so as to cause a taper bearing 17 to be internally rolled directly inside this gearbox, and it is set up inside the gear box 34 so as to be attachable in close vicinity to an engine. Longitudinal center shafts 19 and 23 are installed as tilted as far as 4 deg. to the center line of a car, and symmetrical accelerating hypoid gears 15 and 13 and symmetrical decelerating hypoid gears 25 and 32 are constituted at a minimum space where they are engaged with only one spot of longitudinal pinions 16, 31, 24, and 26. Thus, they are centralized on one spot, not a symmetric slipt type, of a double differential gear, so that the whole driver is miniaturizable.
