Abstract:
To provide a fullerene composite manufactured by compounding fullerene with a metal without heating, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.
Disclosed is a fullerene composite manufactured by integrally binding a powder mixture mixed a metallic powder and fullerene to each other and a method for manufacturing the same. A powder mixture is monoaxially pressed using first and second molds, and a strain stress is allowed to act on the powder mixture being pressed in a nonheated state, that is, without externally applying heat to the powder mixture. The strain stress is a stress by a rotating strain which is applied by rotating at least either the first mold or the second mold around a pressing axial center to the other.
