Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save tap water, by equipping priming water supply path for supplying tap water to a pump as priming water for a self-priming pump and a priming water supply path opening/closing means to control the opening/closing means to open so as to operate the pump on water supplying for washing.
SOLUTION: When a starting key is depressed, a water supply valve is opened to start supplying tap water. The tap water is supplied to a pump p as priming water through a water inlet 36 to a washing tub 2. After a prescribed time is elapsed, the pump P is operated and simultaneously the water supply valve is closed to finish supply of priming water and bath water is sucked up from a bath tub through a pipe 46 in case of the bath water course and supplied into the washing tub 2. After washing operation is finished, water is drained and a rinsing process is carried out. At this time, since bath water is sufficiently retained in the pump P and the pump P can suck and supply bath water into the washing tub 2 even without priming water, the water supply valve 31 is closed to stop tap water supply.
