Title:
FULLY ENCLOSED OUTER-ROTOR ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001061256
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a fully enclosed outer-rotor rotating electric machine, in which temperature rise of a bearing and a stator winding is reduced by improving heat radiation from a rotary bearing bracket.

This rotating electric machine consists of a rotation casing 9 having an armature 7 in the inside, rotary bearing brackets 14 arranged on both sides of the rotation casing 9, and a stator shaft 3 engaged with a stator core 1 which is arranged accommodating a stator winding 2 via an air gap on the inner periphery of the armature 7, and is supported rotatably by the brackets 14 via bearings 5, engaged with both ends of the stator shaft 3. In this case, a hub 6 is arranged in the circumferential direction of the bracket 14 inner wall, and a plurality of impellers 15 which are planted in backward or forward to the rotating direction with respect to the rotating direction on the side surface of the hub 6.
