To provide a fumaric acid diester-based resin composition for cross- linking, capable of giving a cross-linked product maintaining low dielectric constant and good heat resistance and having improved solvent resistance and improved chemical resistance, and to provide the cross-linked product.
This fumaric acid diester-based resin composition for cross- linking comprises a fumaric acid diester-based resin, an organic peroxide capable of reacting with the fumaric acid diester-based resin to form the cross-linked product, and an organic solvent. The fumaric acid diester-based resin is preferably obtained by polymerizing monomers containing a fumaric acid diester of the formula (R1 is a 3-18C branched alkyl group or a cycloalkyl group; R2 is a 3-18C alkyl, a cycloalkyl or an aryl, provided that R1 and R2 are same or different each other). The fumaric acid diester-based resin cross-linked product is obtained by evaporating the organic solvent in the fumaric acid diester- based resin composition and then thermally cross-linking the residue.
