Abstract:

To provide a fume suction nozzle that can be readily removed from and fitted to a torch when performing a maintenance work such as cleaning.

The fume suction nozzle 10 that is attached for use to a torch of an arc welding machine is constituted of a nozzle body 11 and a hood 12 that fits outwardly to a cylindrical mating portion 15 of the nozzle body 11. A slit 17 extending in the axial direction is formed on a cylindrical mounting portion 14 of the nozzle body 11. Fastening a screw 19 makes the cylindrical mounting portion 14 shrink radially, thereby the fume suction nozzle 10 is fit outwardly to the outer circumference of the torch. Turning out the screw 19 after the hood 12 is removed makes the fume suction nozzle 10 be removed from the torch when performing a maintenance work.
