Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the safe subject device having a circuit for purging a gas passing through hydrogen phosphide course, a circuit for hydrogen phosphide reaching a mixer, a circuit for methyl bromide and a circuit for a mixed gas reaching a fumigator and capable of killing noxious insects in a short time.
CONSTITUTION: In a device for fumigation of mixed gas of hydrogen phosphide and methyl bromide, a circuit for purging air and hydrogen phosphide in the course of hydrogen phosphide from a hydrogen phosphide bomb 2, a circuit for hydrogen phosphide reaching a mixer 14 through a humidifier 11, a circuit for methyl bromide reaching the mixer 14 from a methyl bromide bomb 3 through a carburetor 13 and a circuit for a mixed gas reaching a fumigator 15 from the mixer 14 are provided. As a result, safe fumigation free from ignition, extremely reduced in phytotoxicity to a plant and residue of fumigating agent is made possible and noxious insects attached to a living plant are killed in a short time by directly using high-concentration hydrogen phosphide and mixing the hydrogen phosphide with methyl bromide.
